1. Veggie burgers and other store bought veggies products - When someone becomes a vegetarian, they think that the veggie burgers and other veggie products are healthier because it does not contain meat and fat from animals. Vegan products are made out of soy, tofu, or vegetables seasoned to taste like meat, contains a lot of butter, sodium, or fat for flavor. A way to avoid weight gain is to consume minimal starch foods as possible. Eating fruits and vegetables will keep you full and healthy, plus they are great substitute for starchy foods.
4. Salads are not as healthy as you think - Vegetarians and Vegans eat salad to maintain a healthy life. Most salads that are sold in stores have high calories and fat due to the seasonings, preservatives, avocado, and salad dressing. Some salad dressing have so much calories that it defeats that point of eating a salad as a diet. Check the calories on the salad before purchasing.
